SF Brewing Co.

Sometimes you want to hit up the local brew scene and we know just  the place for you to go. SF Brewing Co, which is located in Ghirardelli square is the epitome of local, not to mention this place is also delicious. They have San Francisco themed brews like their signature “Karl” which is a Hazy IPA. This represents the unofficial mascot of San Francisco Karl the Fog. They have beers for all types of beer drinkers from those looking for lighter versions like their light lager to those who are a little more adventurous and are looking for a sour. This spot also serves up some great pub food. 

 

21st Amendment Brewing

Located next to the ballpark this spot is easy to get to and perfect place to go after you catch a game at Oracle Park. They not only serve up some delicious brew they are also slinging some scrumptious food offerings. 21st amendment is best known for their seasonal beers that are widely  distributed, however, you can find some special small batch brews when you visit their brewpub. This spot is only open until 10pm so make sure to plan your evening accordingly.

 

Magnolia Brewing

Magnolia Brewing, the 20 year old brew pub is located in the heart of the Haight/Ashbury neighborhood. The building itself was built in 1903 and is historic in and of itself, it was home to a pharmacy for many years, until it became a hippie hangout in 1964 known as the Drugstore Cafe. They specialize in only a couple styles of beer, but have visiting beers on tap as well. Try their “Kalifornia Kolsch” or their “Magnolia Fivey time Pale Ale” to get a sense of their brewing style. This is also a great excuse to check out a different SF neighborhood that has so much history.

Madrone Art Bar

When it comes to San Francisco nightlife Madrone Art Bar is a local favorite. The proof for this lies in its recent accolate, voted “Best Bar in the Bay” in 2022.
